What Are Wholesale Lace Closures?
A lace closure is a small panel of sheer lace with human hair knotted into it by hand. It has no cap, straps, or elastic, so it cannot be worn on its own. It is a component, bought to be built into something else: sewn into the top of a wig cap, or stitched into a sew-in install to close off the crown so no leave-out is needed.
The lace is what does the work. Because the hair is knotted into mesh rather than sewn onto a seam, the section reads as hair coming from the scalp, and the wearer can part it anywhere inside the panel. That is the entire product: a piece of scalp that parts, sized in inches and priced by how much you buy.

What Are Wholesale Lace Closures Used For?
Three things, and the order matters because it affects how much of our closure volume goes where.
Building a wig cap. A closure is the crown of a closure wig. The maker sews the panel into the top of a cap and wefts the rest, which is how a 5×5 closure wig is built. This is the most common use for the pieces we ship.
Finishing a sew-in install. A stylist sews the closure into the top of a weave so the client’s own hair stays braided down rather than left out to blend. One closure closes one install.
Packing sets for resale. Distributors pair a closure with three wefts and sell the set as one unit. Our set configurations include a 5×5 closure with three wefts ($95 to $210) and a 4×4 closure with three wefts ($130 to $185), depending on the lengths in the set.
What Separates Virgin And Remy Lace Closures?
Both grades are 100% Vietnamese human hair with the cuticle intact and aligned in one direction, which matters on a closure because the panel sits at the crown where a client’s hands go first and most often. The difference is in processing.
Virgin lace closures are chemically unprocessed and hold their natural shade, giving a colorist a clean base to tone the piece to whatever it is being matched against.
Remy lace closures keep cuticle alignment but have been color-processed to a stocked shade, which suits buyers reordering a known number and needing it to arrive the same twice.
We supply both grades in all four sizes, so you can choose grade and size independently.
Which Lace Closure Size Should You Order?
We make five sizes, and the two numbers in each name are inches of lace: the width across the head first, the depth from front to back second. 2×4 is 8 square inches of lace, 2×6 is 12, 4×4 is 16, 5×5 is 25, and 6×6 is 36.
That number drives the decision because it is both what the customer gets and what you pay for. More lace means more parting space and more hand-tied knots, and the price moves with it almost exactly.
2×4 Lace Closure
2 by 4 inches, 8 square inches of lace, $9.3 to $40.5 per piece at 18 to 24 inches. The narrow strip, sized for one fixed parting and nothing else. Buyers use it to close a small section at the crown at the lowest cost in the range.
2×6 Lace Closure
2 by 6 inches, 12 square inches of lace, $13 to $55 per piece at 18 to 24 inches. The same narrow width runs two inches deeper, which suits a long middle part without paying for width the client never uses.
4×4 Lace Closure
4 by 4 inches, 16 square inches of lace, $19 to $88.2 per piece at 18 to 24 inches. The closure market is volume-driven, favoring square rather than strip closures, with a middle or side part on the same piece. Most sew-in and wig work starts here.
5×5 Lace Closure
5 by 5 inches, 25 square inches of lace, $26.2 to $117.5 per piece at 18 to 24 inches. Fifty-six percent more lace than a 4×4, covering enough of the crown that the parting can move between appointments rather than being fixed at the install. It is also the size our closure wig caps are built on.
