What a 4×4 Lace Closure Covers

A 4×4 closure is a 4-inch square of lace that sits at the part. It closes the top of a sew-in or a wig, while the bundles or the wig cap cover the rest of the head. The square gives you room for a middle part, a side part or a free part inside its borders. It does not reach the ears, so it does not allow pulled-back styles. Next to a 5×5 closure, the 4×4 is one inch smaller in each direction, which lowers the price per piece. Next to a 13×4 frontal, it has far less lace to customize and costs much less.

Body Wavy Pattern from Vietnamese Human Hair

Our body wavy texture falls into lovely, effortless S-waves, bringing soft, graceful movement to any style without feeling overly tight like traditional curls. To protect the natural integrity of the hair, we set this pattern using high-temperature steam instead of harsh chemical treatments. We apply the exact same steam-setting process to our body wavy bundles and wefts, so it can match the hair around it. Plus, because it’s genuine human hair, it safely withstands heat styling from 140 to 180°C, giving stylists full freedom to straighten or add extra curls to suit their client’s mood.

HD Lace or Transparent Lace

We make the 4×4 closure on two lace types. HD lace is the thinner, finer film, and it blends into most skin tones without tinting, which makes it the usual pick when a client wears the part exposed. It is also more delicate, so it needs careful handling during install and removal. Transparent lace is slightly thicker and holds up better to repeated wear. It blends well on light to medium skin tones and takes a tint for deeper tones. Many salons keep HD lace for premium installs and transparent lace for units that get re-installed often.

150% Density and Hair Standard

Every closure is made at 150% density, a medium fullness that matches a standard sew-in or wig without looking heavy at the part. Each piece weighs 30 to 50g depending on length. You can choose Double Drawn hair, where most short strands are removed so the ends stay full, or Super Double Drawn hair, where nearly every strand runs close to full length for the thickest ends. Both come in Virgin or Remy grade.

36 Colors and Custom Shades

The Body Wavy Closure 4X4 comes in the same 36 colors as our hair extensions, from natural #1B, #1A and #1 through browns, light shades and white blondes such as #60, #60C and PLA01. We also make custom highlights, balayage, ombre and piano blends on request, and a custom shade takes 7 to 14 days depending on the color and the order quantity. When you order the closure and the bundles in the same color, the part matches the hair around it.
